![]() ASFCU Offers $5000 in College Scholarships to Local APS Students! This year Aurora Schools Federal Credit Union will award four $1000 scholarships to one graduate from each of the four major APS high schools for students heading for college in the fall of 2010. Awards are based on a combination of scholastic achievement, extra curricular activities and an essay. We will also offer one $500 scholarship to one graduate from William Smith High School, and one $500 scholarship to one student at Pickens Technical College. Membership at ASFCU is not required for scholarship eligibility. Brayman and Carroll D. Beach. This scholarship is awarded to credit union members who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in business and is a unique opportunity to celebrate their commitment to our community by investing in our youth and, in turn, the future of the credit union movement.
